Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also known as Myalgia Encephalitis (ME), is affecting more than 25 million Americans who suffer from extreme exhaustion, lasting at least one month, at any given time.
In addition to debilitating fatigue, people with CFS experience brain fog, poor sleep, weakness, muscle & joint pain, headaches, anxiety, depression, overall achiness.
Fibromyalgia Syndrome
Approximately 6 million people with CFS also suffer from Fibromyalgia Syndrome, defined by widespread achiness and pain.
People with CFS and Fibromyalgia seem to be hypersensitive to stress, both physical and emotional. Hypnotherapy is helpful since it works by reducing mind & body stress. Stress reduction can be accomplished by combining deep relaxation techniques with guided imagery, and also by reframing one’s perception of stressful events / Trauma(s).
When it comes to Trauma, Hypnotherapy’s goal is to restore the Self and its “parts” to become balanced and whole, and leave the past in the past.
